Gyeonji Fishing - Sign Me Up

In 10 years from now, when tenkara fishing is rampant in North America and microfishing is passé, you can find me at the nearest stream fishing with a gyeonji.

I was fortunate to come across this video from a fishing forum I frequent. Gyeonji is a traditional Korean fishing pole that at first glance looks like a child's pinwheel. What fascinates me is that the fishing line is quite thin, and the gyeonji itself is quite tiny yet apparently you can bring in quite sizeable fish.

I've tried to find some for sale in North America without any luck. If any reader does know where to find one I would love to hear from them. I'll be microfishing for as long as my eyes and manual dexterity holds up, but perhaps after that I'll find myself a gyeonji.
